The Low Level Preventative Support Service has a key role in prevention and enablement, a workstream within Putting People First and Social Care Transformation. The Service provides targeted support for older people living in their own homes and who are currently not in receipt of any Social Care Services. The type of support offered varies depending on the individuals concerned but generally involves assistance with day to day household tasks such as food preparation, household cleaning, laundry, ironing, general DIY duties as well as shopping and the provision of a visiting service. Applications are invited from organisations that have experience of delivering a Low Level Preventative Support Service or domiciliary related support.
