4. Description: Education and training services. Provision of Accredited Formal First Step (FFS) courses through Adult Safeguarded Learning funding.

Courses aim to enthuse and build the confidence of learners who are returning to learning (particularly at Entry and Level 1) to progress to and achieve Skills for Life and Level 2/3 qualification outcomes; and continue to support the re-engagement of learners within the context of social inclusion.

Courses must be at least 9 guided learning hours in duration, and should be delivered in a range of venues across Telford & Wrekin, mainly focussing on areas of deprivation but ensuring that provision is easily accessible.

Provision must successfully engage at least 1,430 adult learners.
