Telford & Wrekin Council are seeking a lessee as the operator of the established Telford International Railfreight Park based at Hortonwood, Telford, Shropshire.

The purpose built terminal is capable of handling top and bottom lift intermodal traffic, containerised, palletised and bulk freight.

Key site features are:

Open access Status - the rail terminal is available to all hauliers and rail service providers, and is capable of handling intermodal traffic, bulk freights and wagon load or palletised traffic
5 reception sidings
Hard standing for storage facilities
Fuelling station for road and rail
Weighbridge
Current operator has achieved AFSO status
24/7 monitored security available
Rail access - the rail terminal has direct access onto the National Rail Network, allowing frequent and competitive rail services to all major destinations throughout the UK, with links to mainland Europe via the Channel Tunnel and Sea Ports.
