It is anticipated that the future procurement exercise will result in a ¿light touch¿ framework agreement or ¿light touch¿ dynamic purchasing system being put in place which will involve a number of suppliers capable of delivering the services needed, to be ¿called-off¿ as and when the Council needs those services.

The Council intends to hold a Market Sounding event Thursday 14th January 2016 to help to shape the proposed procurement process and specification for this project. Accordingly, commercially confidential information should not be disclosed. Participating in this market sounding exercise will not guarantee short-listing at a later stage in the procurement.

Places for the event are restricted to two people per company and allocated time slots will be confirmed by the Council on Monday 11th January no later than 5pm (GMT).

The event will consist of initial presentations in the morning by council members and officers. This will be followed by a pre-booked 20 minute session with the Team Leader and Project co-ordinator. The purpose of the allocated time slots is for companies to discuss the key points pertinent to their own provision with council officers and ask follow up questions. Interview slots will be allocated in the order requests are received from Thursday 7th January 2016.

If demand for a time slot exceeds availability, additional appointments will be offered following the event
