II.2.4) Description of the procurement: This Lot 1 is being awarded by Telford & Wrekin Council on behalf of both Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Council and will operate across the Marches area from 1 November 2020 to 31st December 2022 with outputs being recorded and delivered for ERDF until 28th February 2023.
The award is to deliver coaching and mentoring support to aspiring entrepreneurs, start-ups and established/growing businesses. Support may include one to one support, workshops, virtual training sessions, etc. The successful tenderer will develop and deliver the service.
The contract value is £255,500
The contract is part-funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The contract is part funded by the European Development Fund (ERDF) and the support provided will operate under the de-minimis state aid regulation.
Social Value is one of the key themes of the Local Government National Procurement Strategy and the public sector must consider it as part of a procurement exercise.
